About Us

This website is owned and operated by Margie Yancey Cash of ALCME, Inc., a former member of the East Atlanta Elementary Band (EAEB) from 1958 through 1962. Margie plans to publish as much content about the history of the EAEB as possible and invites other former members to come forward and add their content to this site too. You will be given access to login to the site (Register Here) and post your content, including pictures. Or, you can send Margie your content, and she will get it added for you. Margie wants this to be a tribute to the EAEB and to Charlie Bradley, its Director. Ultimately, Margie would like to have a copy of every recording done by the EAEB, so that others can download them and enjoy them with their families and friends.

For any members who have published their own website about the EAEB, we'd like to setup a Blog Ring for linking our sites together. This will make it easy for our visitors to find complete information about the EAEB. So, please notify Margie of the existence of your sites.

This website is a work-in-progress, and Margie would like to keep it that way, so that everyone has an opportunity to contribute their memories, pictures, and other information for posterity. There will be Sections for factual information and Forums for becoming reacquainted with old friends, sharing your favorite memories, or discussing issues that interest you. You are invited to contribute to any and all areas of interest and make suggestions for improving the site.
